A couple of cases of particular interest:

.

Case Number 23-33-dtd 10/13/23-Trump flag displayed. Removed. Closed.

.

Case Number 23-30-dtd 9/27/23-campaign flag removed.

.

WHY THE INTEREST?

In our October 3rd story, “WAR AGAINST GOD”, we reported that Ranch Manager Judy Lapora requested that the Flag Guidelines enumerated in the Ranch Policy & Procedures Handbook be amended, allowing for the Pride Flag to be flown on the Ranch.

.

The Board approved Lapora’s request.

The following language was added to the Handbook,

.

Section P: “decorative flags that are not vulgar or political, flags supporting diversity and inclusion.”

.

“INCLUSION”

.

“Inclusive means including everything or open to everyone; not limited to certain people.”

Thankfully Director Julia Randall made perfectly clear the Board’s position. Randall: “Obviously the Board decided to become INCLUSIVE in 2023.”

Director Sheryl Jones added her two cents: “INCLUSIVE is a good thing.”

.

GOOD TO KNOW

.

At the October 16th Regular Board Meeting, Lapora tried to explain rather duplicitously, the motive behind removing the flag restrictions barring flying the Rainbow/Pride/Diversity Flag.

She stated: “...there were some people that felt it was an inappropriate restriction on people being able to have a happy gay flag or a pride flag or whatever flag.”

.

“WHATEVER FLAG”

.

Two important words have been adopted by our Board in 2023:

.

“INCLUSION” and “WHATEVER.”

.

Does it really matter anymore what flag you fly?
