“TECHNOLOGY ISSUES HAVE STRUCK CRR AGAIN!”

.

Last week Ranch Matters (RM) attempted to access the CRR website and found the site was DOWN. Monday (11/28/22), we contacted the Ranch Administration Office and they told at the time they were unaware of the website issue and thanked us.

.

Today, Ranch Manager Judy Lapora released the following statement: “TECHNOLOGY ISSUES HAVE STRUCK AGAIN! Unfortunately our website is down so we are having to resort to other methods of getting the information out about the BOD Work Session to our members. The website issue is in the hands of our IT Team. We do not have an ETA but hope that it will be up and running again very soon. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused…”

.

RM reached out to Lapora and asked if she could tell us more about the website issue and the Ranch IT Team.

We asked if she knew the cause of the problem and she stated: “We’re not sure, we think it’s a scripting issue-we think the host did an update, it did something to the scripting within our website. The thing that is a problem here is that this website is constructed on a platform called CONCRETE 5 and not many people work in that platform. I called all over the place-I even called former IT people that we had here. We reached out to the host that we use and they have elevated it to a higher tier tech.”

.

Lapora explained scripting is the code that runs the website and that she has been in contact with our IT GUYS “regularly” and they are working on it.

Lapora confirmed “CASCADE PROFESSIONAL COMPUTING” owned by Matthew Stubbs, is the IT company used by Crooked River Ranch and wasn’t familiar with any other IT companies under contract for IT services-just Cascade.

Lapora stated: “Matt is good at and one of the few that does work in CONCRETE 5. There aren’t a lot of people out there that know how to operate in that platform-CONCRETE 5.”

.

We’re familiar with Cascade Professional and have published in the past stories related to Cascade and Matt Stubbs so we checked with the Oregon Secretary of State-Corporation Division. According to their records as of today, Cascade PROFESSIONAL COMPUTING, LLC was Dissolved Administratively on 12-03-2020.
