RUMORS

12/14/18, 1:32 PM

Church & Rec Center-Adjacent to CRR Fire Station

Ranch Matters spoke today with Jefferson County Planning Director Jefferson Spencer regarding the above rumor.

According to Spencer,

“representatives interested in developing the property-142.5 acres, including the Macpherson’s, met with him about 6 or 7 months ago.”

To date, there are No Applications/Permits submitted and No information was discussed about a church.

The representatives discussed only building a Community Center and a Residential area.

Spencer added, a “survey” of Ranch residents seeking their input needs to be sent out and Ranch Manager Judy Lapora will coordinate.

We also talked with Darlene Maben at the Jefferson County Assessors Office and learned,

The Macpherson property is not a part of Crooked River Ranch and does not pay any SRD TAXES, FIRE PROTECTION TAXES/LEVIES OR RANCH DUES.

Assessed taxes on the 142.50 acres is $1,477. 94 before discount.
