Follow up report-“YOU DIDN’T F**KING ASK”
We met with Jefferson County Sheriff, Jim Adkins today, regarding yesterday’s TRESPASS ORDER issued by Ranch Golf Course Superintendent, Dick Jensen. According to the Sheriff, we have been entered into some trespass logging system and if we
“violate the trespass order, we can be arrested.”
Sheriff Adkins stated the following:
“We were not arrested by Deputy Barros yesterday, because no crimes were committed. Dale, the groundskeeper, gave us permission and directions to be on the golf course to investigate/report on the vandalism for the benefit of the Ranch Membership.”
“Jensen later revoked Dale’s permission” questioning his justification.
Adkins said “We were the first to be TRESPASSED from the golf course” and to make his point, he said, “people walk the path all the time.”
Adkins asked, “Why didn’t Jensen want us out there to report on these crimes and why was he (Jensen) so fired up?” Further, Adkins questioned, the trespass order, as it applies to Dues Paying Members.
Sheriff Adkins conveyed his concerns, understands there needs to be some follow-up and again, asked, “How can we solve this issue?” He quickly answered, “I’m not sure.”
We will be investigating this incident, as well as exploring all legal options.
