Ranch Matters obtained a copy of the Draft Ordinance and had Special Road District (SRD)

Chairman Lynn Breeden review it. He told us he sees a few issues that need fleshed out, but supports the idea of allowing ATV’s to operate on the Ranch.

Breeden also wants the homeowners to understand that the SRD has jurisdiction over ALL CRR Roads with the exception of Jefferson County Roads.

REWIND

At the September 9, 2024, SRD Meeting, several ATV Club Members were in attendance regarding an opposition letter, authored by Ranch President Kari Vickery.

Vickery’s letter stated in part, that the Ranch Board of Directors had conducted some mysterious “comprehensive review”, apparently not supported by any facts and minus the stakeholders. The ATV club was understandably upset and wanted answers.

Vickery attended the meeting VIRTUALLY and provided her version of events, answered some questions and confirmed the matter had been discussed/decided in Executive Session.

She later commented, “WHY DO WE NEED ORV’S ON THE RANCH?” Brian Morgan responded with facts and figures. Vickery doubled down and stated, she saw “NO REASON TO SUPPORT THE ENDEAVOR.”
