WHO DOESNT WANT THIS CASE TO SETTLE

Ranch Matters met briefly today with former Ranch Director and named defendant, Carol Orr regarding her recent conversation with the Ranch Insurer about the 2016 Ballot Measure Lawsuit, Case No: 18 CV 16980.

The insurer stated the following to Carol, "We encouraged settling the case from the beginning."

Carol asked, “who doesn't want this case to settle?”

In July, Carol wrote the Oregon State Bar regarding concerns she had with her legal representation at that time.

Interestingly, one of Ms. Orr's issues addressed in her Bar Letter dealt with a settlement offer that had been made and was rejected over a year ago. Ms. Orr stated, had she known about the offer, she would have accepted it and still would today.

Lastly, Ms. Orr repeated, she has been "kept in the dark" and wondered if the other defendants are also in the dark and do they even care?
