“WHEN THE GOVERNOR HAS DECLARED A STATE OF EMERGENCY...”
HB 2238

HB 2238, sponsored by State Representative Marty Wilde, a Democrat from District 11, relates to private property during an emergency.
What kind of an emergency (COVID?)could Governor Kate Brown invoke and are there any Constitutional protections?
In 2012, former President Obama signed Executive Order 13603, “NATIONAL DEFENSE RESOURCES PREPAREDNESS” granting the Federal Government blanket authority over our entire economy.

We are living in very strange and uncertain times and granting the government, whether state or federal, more power and authority over citizens should concern all of us.
VIEW OF THE FUTURE?
