In our story, “DOCUMENT DUMP” published last Thursday, (5/1/25), Ranch Matters reported that a treasure trove of documents related to CRR’s internal workings had been dumped into our laps.

We indicated that we were reviewing and provided some examples of documents received that included in part, employee salaries, benefits, evaluations and digital data communications between upper management, staff and Directors.

There’s a massive amount of documents requiring close scrutinization, as well as, organized chronologically.

STARTING POINT

RANCH MANAGER’S SALARY DOCUMENT-NO LONGER SECRET

A salary document related to Ranch Manger Judy Lapora, dated 2015-2016, reflects her Gross Pay as $72,000.00 with her total compensation package reported as $90,340.00.

The above salary information, albeit 10 years old, provides a starting point, or a baseline, that can help calculate her current compensation package that most likely includes cost of living adjustments, incentives, bonuses, raises and other perks.

For years, Manager Lapora has hidden from the homeowners her salary/compensation package along with other upper managers salaries. She believes and has repeatedly stated,

“IT’S NONE OF OUR BUSINESS.”

All Ranch employee compensation information and negotiations takes place behind closed doors and the homeowners are not only excluded from the process, but verbally attacked when asking anything related to salaries and DUES.

Homeowners are supposed to simply pay their DUES, the very DUES that pay employee salaries and shut up.

RM will be updating/publishing employee compensation information as the review process evolves.

Publishing this information is important not only for the membership as a whole, but also it asserts the right of the Press to inform their readers.
