RESIGNATION LETTER
Last Friday we posted a story titled, “City of Madras-SPECIAL MEETING “ regarding the following: “The council will consider the dismissal or discipline of, or hear complaints or charges brought against, one or more public officers, employees, staff members, or individual agents...”
One of the key issues dealt with allegations against City Councilor Austin Throop’s social media comments about City Councilor Jennifer Holcomb and his refusal to apologize to her.
Ms. Holcomb asked for Throop’s resignation and she got it less than an hour after the meeting adjourned.
