There have been rumors that Pat Huffer, CRR’s Golf Pro is moving on to greener pastures.

Ranch Matters caught up with Pat Huffer today and he confirmed he’s leaving and that his last day will be May 9, 2020. According to Huffer, he accepted a position with “Wenatchee Golf & Country Club” because he wants to be closer to his family.

Absent any recruitment notices on the Ranch Website or any other official Ranch communication platforms, we asked Huffer how his replacement will be selected. Huffer stated, the Ranch is using the Professional Golf Association (PGA) “head-hunters” as the initial recruitment process with a deadline of April 19th.

.

He added, there is a Ranch “Selection Committee” composed of golf members and the golf liaison for the BOD that will review the applications and make recommendations.

.

A quick review of the PGA’s “Job Board” reflects the following: “Head Golf Professional at Crooked River Ranch Golf.” Salarying Range: “$62,000-$78,000/year (+) up to $80,000.”
