According to Jensen’s salary document, he received $66,000.00 in 2006; $68,000.00 in 2007; $70,000.00 in 2008 and $72,240.00 in 2012. Additionally, he may have received an extra bump for “acting as the safety coordinator” and the use of a company truck.

Though the above salary figures may seem old and outdated, nevertheless they serve as a starting point, or baseline, that can be used to calculate his current compensation package.

Wouldn’t it be nice to know the total value of Jensen’s compensation package given the aforementioned numbers?

In a previous story, Ranch Matters reported on the hot topic-EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION, inadvertently mentioned by former Ranch President Bill Burt at one of our Work Session Meetings in 2022. Burt confirmed that he had just negotiated a new “FOUR (4) YEAR CONTRACT” with Richard Jensen, CRR’s Golf Course Superintendent and the former Golf Pro, Randy Ballard.

Burt: “Randy, Richard and I met with each other and went over the contracts for Randy Ballard and Richard Jensen and they have new contracts now for 4 years, effective the first of May.”

Former Ranch Director Ara Erdekian asked, “Did we keep them at their pay level or did we raise their pay?”

Burt: “Their pay level was raised as part of that.”

ANOTHER REVEALING DOCUMENT

RM obtained via an Oregon Department of Justice ORDER, an email authored by Manager Lapora, dated April 23, 2020, marked CONFIDENTIAL. According to her email, the Ranch staff doesn’t work for the homeowners/members. Lapora: “NONE OF OUR STAFF WORK FOR THEM OR ANY ASSOCIATION MEMBER.”

For years, Lapora has hidden from the homeowners her salary/compensation package along with other upper managers salaries. Her standard mantra:
