Had a brief yet informative meeting with JCSO UnderSheriff Marc Heckathorn yesterday.

While with UnderSheriff Heckathorn, he stated that there is a "New look for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office." UnderSheriff Heckathorn went on to say that, "The Sheriff's Personnel have updated to a more functional uniform."

The new look includes a black embroidered polo shirt, black BDU'S and a carrier which is utilized for carrying all equipment, incorporating a ballistic vest.
