Ranch Special Road District (SRD) Chairman Lynn Breeden asked the Ranch residents to be careful before they venture out driving off any paved roads.

Don't be fooled by today's warm weather because according to Breeden, the off road areas including possibly ones own driveway can be very deceiving. Breeden: "On the surface things look great, but the subgrade-the soil beneath the surface is muck."

Greg from Litsis Towing has responded to several stuck vehicles on the Ranch and suggests walking the area before driving any unpaved surface. Greg: "It's been a warm winter and any ground that your might be driving your vehicle on, check it first, walk it first. If it feels soft don’t take a chance and drive over it."
