In 2008 Congress passed the America’s Beautiful Natural Parks Quarter Dollar Coin Act, which began a series of Quarter Dollars circulating in 2010.

The series is due for completion in February 2021.

Interestingly, on February 3, 2020, the latest quarter dollar was released into circulation picturing a bat-a fruit bat and her pup.
