Special Road District (SRD) Budget Committee Meeting

Following last night’s (5/12/25), Special Road District Meeting (SRD), the Directors held their Budget Committee Meeting to discuss and approve their Proposed 25-26 Budget.

SRD Chairman, Lynn Breeden told Ranch Matters: “We, the SRD, have very limited amount of money-funds to work with. That’s why the SRD earlier this year, reached out to the HOA Board of Directors for some financial assistance, given the history I’m familiar with, but the request was denied.”

Breeden: “ I want the homeowners to understand that our current project-fixing the old section of Quail Road will exhaust most of the funds in our account. Repairing the old section of Quail Road, the costs involved and responsible parties is old news. It was a hot topic back when the HOA and the SRD held discussions regarding repercussions involving the Emergency Exit/Quail Road Exit process and later construction.

Now it’s our responsibility to sort out facts from fiction and find the best possible solution for maintaining all of the roads under the SRD’s jurisdiction.”
