  10-29-20 EMERGING PATTERNS AND TRENDS WHY ARE THE BOARD MEMBERS "CLUELESS" TO IMPORTANT ISSUES? PRESIDENT HARBOUR APPEARS TO MAKING IMPORTANT DECISIONS WITHOUT INCLUDING THE ENTIRE BOARD.... By Carol Orr This post is a follow up to "Letter to the Editor" posted 10/27/20 in RM's. I will start with the last three occurrences/patterns that I have been a part of. 8/12/19. I attempted to address the Board regarding then Director Mark Schneider's lies he was posting regarding my Directorship. President Harbour forbid me to address. BOARD CLUELESS. 2. I attempted to address the entire Board as to who thought it was a good idea to send a thumb drive of myself, John Stevens and Dave Stangland to Sheriff Adkins. Harbour actually graveled the meeting and walked out on me, once again forbidding me to speak. BOARD CLUELESS. 3.Just this week, I sent an email to the entire Board regarding DPSST complaint. What do all of these have in common? The Board did not a clue what I was talking about. When I stood in front of the Board or emailed them asking those questions, they admitted ignorance on all occurrences. And the very sad part, is that none of them were even curious. Just wanted to shoot the messenger. DO YOU SEE A PATTERN HERE? There have been two SPECIAL EXECUTIVE SESSIONS scheduled in the last month by Carl Harbour, which both included lawyer/s??? We as residents are not privy to what they actually discuss, but can I ask, at least disclose how much each executive session cost? And what is the need for lawyering up? If President Harbour would just stick to truth and transparency and include your Board in ALL decisions, one will never get tripped up. At least that is what I was always taught.
