Jefferson County Board Of Commissioner’s Meeting

Ranch Matters attended the first Jefferson County Commissioner’s Meeting of 2019.

 AGENDA

 

Kelly Simmelink was sworn in at 8:15 AM as our new County Commissioner replacing Mike Ahern who retired.

Other County Officials were sworn in and Commissioner Mae Huston was elected as the Board’s new Chairperson.

One item of INTEREST:

Derek Hofbauer, from CENTRAL OREGON INTERGOVERNMENTAL COUNCIL (COIC) testified and provided a List of 17 Applicants for the Statewide Transportation Fund Advisory Committee, including two applicants from Crooked River Ranch-Carol Orr & John Smallwood.

 

According to County Administrator, Jeff Rasmussen,

A minimum of 5 candidates will be selected and possibly all 17.
