Steve Swigart, former CRR General Maintenance Supervisor, has been following our latest reports and felt it important to remind our readers that Ranch Manager Judy Lapora was/is “obsessed” with targeting Ranch Matters News Service and “followers”.

Swigart was the whistleblower a few years back that alerted Ranch Matters that Lapora had created a “HIT LIST or BAD GUY LIST”. He recalls Lapora showing him her ‘HIT LIST” reflecting at least “10 Association Members Names with Ranch Matters, John Stevens and Dave Stangland names at the very top.”

“DANGEROUS, CRAZY & TROUBLEMAKERS”

Swigart explained that Lapora had prohibited him, her staff and employees from talking with us and said we were “DANGEROUS, CRAZY and TROUBLEMAKERS.” He stressed she was absolutely “ crazy obsessed with everything and everyone connected to Ranch Matters.”

“PARANOID” ?

As the Ranch Maintenance Supervisor, Swigart had many responsibilities. However, one particular task seemed “odd and off base.” Swigart: “Lapora directed me to search for“BUGS-Electronic Eavesdropping Devices in the Juniper Room.” According to Swigart

Lapora’s paranoia was based on Ranch Matters-John Stevens investigative background as a private investigator.” Swigart said she called us “spies” with the skill sets necessary to plant electronic bugging devises. “Swigart: “She (Lapora) said Ranch Matters are spies with the ability and background to plant the devices and she was serious.”

FOR THE RECORD, RANCH MATTERS HAS NEVER BUGGED THE JUNIPER ROOM

Speaking of spies, Lapora directed Swigart to add 4 new video cameras to the pre-existing camera system, specifically because of Ranch Matters. Two in the Juniper Room and two outside the Juniper Room. “She claimed it was crime related, but that was not the truth. It was all about keeping an eye on you guys-Ranch Matters and followers.”

Swigart: “The camera/surveillance system had zero problems-it was working and it had zero to do with crime. The system was working well enough, that when Lapora instructed me to retrieve certain video snippets of you-John Stevens, Dave Stangland and Carol Orr at certain Board of Director meetings-she got just what she asked for.”

Interestingly, after Swigart had just added the 4 new cameras described above, former Ranch President Carl Harbour called Swigart also related to surveillance systems. Harbour asked Swigart if the newly purchased and installed cameras had the ability to capture audio in the Juniper room. Swigart responded “NO.” Shortly thereafter Lapora spent about “$14K” for a completely new and supposedly advanced video/audio surveillance system in the Juniper Room.

Swigart: I don’t know why they spent thousands of dollars for this new system right after having me purchase and install the 4 camera system that worked just fine.” “Ranch Matters should ask the Association leaders if they are recording audio with their new, unneeded expensive surveillance system?”

“THEY’RE AFRAID OF THE TRUTH”

Swigart: “Lapora and her followers have used and continue to use the Ranch lawyers as a retaliatory weapon to intimidate and punish Association members they feel are a problem.

She and/or her followers spread vicious, malicious and down right untrue rumors about Ranch Matters as part of a harassment campaign to discredit you guys.

Her addition of an advance audio/video camera surveillance system with uncertain audio capabilities was all about her paranoia regarding Ranch Matters.

Lapora and certain Ranch leaders have created questionable, restrictive, punitive resolutions and liens to shut Ranch Matters and their followers up.

They have big a problem, you guys don’t scare-you’re not afraid of them. However, they are definitely afraid of you and the TRUTH.”

“It’s Lapora’s WAR. Years ago, she declared war on Ranch Matters, followers and especially the truth.

Board of Directors come and go, but she’s the one constant that makes sure her private war continues with each successive Director. Nothing is going to change until the truth comes out, which certainly hasn’t to this date.”
