2016 BALLOT MEASURE LAWSUIT-UpDate

Jefferson County Circuit Court Case No: 18 CV 16980

Today there was a hearing regarding defendants’ Motion for a Summary Judgment. Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge Annette Hillman presided over the hearing which lasted about 45 minutes.

Ranch Manager, Judy Lapora, Ranch President, Carl Harbour, Ranch Director and newly appointed VP, Bill Burt and Ex-president/Defendant, David Palmer were in attendance.

Also in attendance, Ranch resident/Plaintiff, Linda Andyke.

Judge Hillman listened to both attorney’s and dismissed the claims against the individual Directors.

The case against the Ranch continues and a trial date has been set for May 11, 2020.

The court also scheduled a Settlement Conference for February 4, 2020.

Further Discovery and Depositions upcoming.

As an aside, yesterday (12/02/19), Defendant, Carol Orr, was released from the case via an agreement.
