At today’s Jefferson County Board of Commissioner’s Meeting, the Commission continued their discussion regarding the disbursement of SDC FEES for the installation of 28 asphalt aprons on some of the Ranch roads.

County Chair Kelly Simmelink facilitated the discussion that included Commissioners Wayne Fording and Mark Wunsch-telephonically, from Washington D.C.

County Public Works Director Matt Powlison, CRR/SRD Chair Sue Haley and CRR Road Supervisor Jordan Jones participated.

The Commission voted unanimously and approved spending $195,000 for the Project. However, the actual SDC expenditure for the Ranch is $165,000 due to the County Road Fund chipping in $30,000.
