Yesterday, 10/16/18, a Settlement Conference was held at the Jefferson County Courthouse regarding Public Records. A Settlement has been reached, terms include, Williams will produce additional records.
Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge Daina Vitolins presided over the proceedings. Attorney Tim Gassner representing the SRD and John Williams along with SRD Commissioner Mike Schlabach participated in the Conference. Attorney Robert Birk represented Plaintiff John Stevens.
Lawyers are working out the details and a written Settlement Agreement will be forthcoming.
As part of the Settlement there will be a Hearing on January 25, 2019, regarding Robert Birk’s attorney fees.
