Structure Fire on High Cone Dr

At approx 4 pm a “Structure fire” at 8120 High Cone was reported to Crooked River Ranch Fire and Rescue. Multiple fire Units from CRR F&R along with a Fire Unit from Redmond were dispatched.

Upon arrival, It was confirmed the occupants were not in the manufactured home at the time. The home burned for about 40 minutes.

Firefighters were overhauling and extinguishing hot spots.

 

Some of the potential hazards the firefighters faced was toxic smoke and an electrical hazard as Pacific Power had not arrived to secure the line to the house, and the possibility of a wall collapsing.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Some of the Firefighters departed the scene and were returning to station/quarters at around 6:10 pm
