RE: CRR Board meetings
I am writing to you regarding some concerns I have with Commissioner Huston’s comments to our CRR HOA/BOD and the potential impact it might have on the Commission as a whole.
As a member of the CRR HOA, a taxpayer, voter and former Ranch Director, I find it very disconcerting that Ms. Huston attends our Board meetings (uninvited she admits) and is now telling our Board of Directors how to run our private meetings.
In Ms. Huston’s own words, (I was a witness) at last Monday’s (2/3/20) Work Session Meeting and after it was adjourned, she approached Ranch President Carl Harbour and the rest of the Board. She told the Board, that certain residents comments should not be allowed during regular session meetings. She further told the Board that these people need to address the Board after meeting is adjourned, as whatever these people are asking is a waste of the Board’s time. Harbour and a few others heard her comments. I just happened to be standing right next to Huston and suggested that if she has something to say, she needs to address this when a Board meeting is in session, not clandestinely.
Curiously, what is Huston’s agenda, why is she attending the meetings and how does she use the information discussed at our board meetings?
I’ve got to ask, does it trouble any of you that there is a perception percolating ; that the Ranch and the County Commissions are acting as one entity?
I thank you for your anticipated courtesies and consideration.
CRR Ranch Resident,
Carol Orr
