This is to give notice of my resignation as a Director for the Crooked River Ranch Special Roads District, effectively August 12, 2023.

The failure of the County Commissioners to appoint two new Board members at their August 9th meeting, has further complicated the issue of trying to restore the Special Roads District Board of Directors to a functioning self governing agency.
.
This was especially disappointing to see happen when the Commission in two different communications indicated they would appoint new Board members at that August 9th meeting.
The meeting that close to 12 people drove to Madras to attend and participate in expecting to hear an appointment of new Board members, and instead hearing a postponement.

The Commissioners were clearly influenced by the testimony of an individual who indicated there had been insufficient notice to the HOA and residents, despite the HOA being notified on July 26th of the process, and requesting additional time to try and get more applications.

This has all done nothing more than delay the normal function of the Special Roads District.

I will be returning all documents and items in my possession for the Special Roads District to the County Clerk in the next 7 days.
