At last Monday’s (03/05/24), CRR/BOD Work Session Meeting, the Directors discussed the FY2024-2025 budget that included

Raising the Association Dues by $20.00.

.

Additionally, and primarily thanks to Director Ara Erdekian, the Directors further discussed increasing the Title Transfer Fees to help cover salaries for the Admin Staff.

Later that night, the Special Road District (SRD) met and the subject of Association Dues related to the Ranch roads was briefly covered.

Post meeting there were questions regarding the allocation of DUES for the Ranch Road Department and Admin Office.

Salaries, employee compensation generally was a hot topic.

There was an assumption by some of the homeowners that Ranch employees/staff, including Manager Judy Lapora, work for the members.

NOT TRUE,

at least according to Manager Lapora.

Ranch Matters obtained via an Oregon Department of Justice Order, an email authored by Manager Lapora, dated April 23, 2020, and marked CONFIDENTIAL.

Her email said in part, that the Ranch staff doesn’t work for the homeowners/members.

Lapora: “NONE OF OUR STAFF WORK FOR THEM OR ANY ASSOCIATION MEMBER.”

Resident Michelle Parcel commented that what was stated in Lapora’s email mentioned above was additionally repeated at a past CRR/BOD meeting, by Lapora.

She added, that Lapora and/or the Ranch Officials refuse to make available to the Ranch property owners Employee Compensation Information and according to Lapora,

“IT’S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.”

“NONE OF OUR STAFF WORK FOR THEM OR ANY ASSOCIATION MEMBER”?

“IT’S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS”?
