Horny Hollow Length Restriction Sign Follow-Up

Met with Jefferson County Road Supervisor Danny Ortiz today about the so-called “vandalized” sign.
Supervisor Ortiz was very candid and stated the County has no jurisdiction or involvement regarding this issue. The County’s position is “neutral.”
He added, he has only had contact with CRR Road Supervisor Robert Parler who “apologized” for creating the sign confusion.
Supervisor Ortiz also said that after consulting with Public Works Director Mike McHaney about this matter they became concerned that one particular family was being targeted and were “not on board with this.”
Supervisor Ortiz has been working for the Public Works Department for 26 years.
