RESOLUTION REBELLION-Day 3
WRAP UP
Another successful day on 43rd. Many residents honking for freedom, stopping, asking questions, signing our petition and getting informed.
As an aside, someone called the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office and reported that we were supposedly “jumping” into the road. The deputy stated he supports our right to protest and had no problem with our protest location.
Additionally, Pat Kruis from the Madras Pioneer stopped, took some photographs and didn’t ask any questions. We did have a brief exchange with Ms. Kruis regarding press rights and the First Amendment and Kruis schooled us on journalism objectivity. She did ask for copies of the Resolutions and the Petition. Ms. Kruis is a Ranch resident.
