Tomorrow, December 15, 2021, the JC Veterans Service Office is hosting a Christmas PICK- UP Event from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Jefferson County Community Center in Madras.

Veterans and Active-Duty Military can pick up FREE stocking stuffers, toys and a meal to go.

MENU:

Turkey or Tomato Soup-catered by Black Bear Restaurant, Corn Bread and Chocolate Chip Cookies.

The Jefferson County Veterans Service Office is collecting new toys for Veteran and Active- Duty Military Families. New unwrapped toys can be donated until December 13th at the following collection points in Madras:

*Jefferson County Annex

*Stay Center

*Busy Bee Market

*N&S Tractor

*Carquest

*DHS

*Point S

*Rip Q Signs & Graphics

*Thriftway

*Mail Copies & More

*Best Care

*Jefferson County Senior/Community Center

Additionally, new unused hygiene products such as soap, toothbrushes, and shampoo are also greatly appreciated.

Stocking Stuffer toy donations can be purchased through the Madras Dollar Tree courtesy of Operation Home front.

The JC Veterans Service Office will host a Christmas PICK-UP Event on December 15th from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the JC Community Center. Veterans & Active-Duty Military can pick up FREE stocking stuffers, toys and a meal to go. Black Bear will be cooking soup for this event.

Huge thank you to all of the businesses, service organizations, & citizens who volunteer their time & hard-earned money to support these events throughout the year. Without their support, I would not be able to host these types of events.
