The race is heating up for Jefferson County Commissioner Wayne Fording’s seat on the Board.

There are seven contenders and one in particular, George (Wes) Curtiss Is relentless.

Curtiss spent the afternoon meeting and greeting Crooked River Ranch residents on 43rd and Chinook.

He waved at the passing cars, handed out campaign Information, answered questions and addressed concerns.

Curtiss wants the residents to know that his family moved to the Ranch in 1978 when there were only “200 people” and he still has a house on the Ranch.

Curtiss told RM: “If you elect me I will work for you seven days a week-not just on Wednesday.”

He added: “I’m not going to forget you-Ranch residents and will always be available day or night.
