PRESS RELEASE

JEFFERSON COUNTY COSTS TAXPAYERS $4,125.00 ON DOOMED APPLICATION 19-SP-02

Attention: Jefferson County CDD Director Phil Stenbeck

Are you aware that Jefferson County Oregon CDD department cost the taxpayers of Jefferson County $4,125.00 on application 19-SP-02?

Would County Council Alexa Gassner like to give comment why she omitted the attached document in the Remers’ public record request, as well as others?

Is it normal for JeffCo CDD to spend $4,125.00 to Anderson Perry & Associates to review an application at a rate of $125.00/hr and 33 total hours?

Can Mae Huston or other Commissioners give comment on what the document attached to this email suggests?

A prompt response is needed.

thank you,
The Remers

UPDATE/FOLLOW-UP:

The Remer’s received a copy of a Non-Itemized Invoice, submitted to Jefferson County from Anderson Perry & Associates, Inc . for $4,125.00 of taxpayers money regarding their School Bus Conversion Project.

Ranch Matters was asked by the Remer’s if we possibly could obtain an Itemized Copy of the Invoice from Jefferson County.

We submitted this afternoon our Public Records Request and about an hour later Jefferson County Counsel, Alexa Gassner provided this (Somewhat) Itemized Invoice.
