George Floyd’s death by the Minneapolis Police sparked protests across the Country today and Portland was no exception.

Earlier today, the Portland Chapter of the NAACP held a eulogy for Black America at Terry Shrunk Plaza.

After the eulogy protestors set up camp in front of the Multnomah County Justice Center.

The protestors blocked SW 2nd in front of the Justice Center and there was no visible police presence until a vehicle attempted to drive through a group of protestors.

The driver refused to back up and he was arrested by police.
