At last night’s (11/6/23), Special Road District (SRD) Regular Meeting, Ranch Road Supervisor Jordan Jones was asked if he had seen or obtained a copy of the 10/26, police/accident report involving the Ranch Road Department’s Water Truck. He stated “No.
Today Ranch Matters (RM) drove to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and picked up a copy of the Police Report and the Supplemental Report along with the deputy’s notebook notes.

“On October 26, 2023, I Deputy Stephen Witherow, was on duty, in uniform, displaying a badge, driving a marked patrol vehicle, working from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, in Jefferson County, Oregon.
At approximately 9:28 am, I was dispatched to SW Chinook Drive and SW Otter Court on Crooked River Ranch for the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a truck towing a large water tank.
Dispatched advised the water tank had rolled on its side and the driver of the vehicle appeared injured.
I arrived on scene at about 9:46 am, EMS transported the driver later Identified as Gary Pearce, 66, Bend prior to my arrival…”
