NO LAWSUIT FILED

There is NO lawsuit filed to date & this is not about feelings. Mediation is out. Alternative Dispute Resolution is out. On April 18, 2017, the Board’s attorney declined any offer to meet or mediate this matter. He stated in part: “At this time, the Association does not feel that alternative dispute resolution would be productive for the issues raised in your letter.” On June 5, 2017, the Board’s attorney reaffirmed the Board’s earlier position, by stating the following: “The Association sees no reason to engage in alternative dispute resolution process.”
As stated above, there is no lawsuit, only a legally required Notice was submitted to our Board of Directors. They immediately hired one of the most expensive law firms in Oregon costing us-Association Members, approximately $10K for a few letters.
