A NEW POLICY, BROUGHT TO YOU BY BOD PRESIDENT HARBOUR.

What am I talking about?

The Ranch Rulers are once again coming after your flags and signs. This new policy contains the words “to be handled in an expeditious manner outside the normal complaint process”. Is this policy just about flags and signs? Harbour is making it legal for 9 people to force you to comply, to obey his arbitrary “standards”. Is such a policy legal and binding?

Harbour continues, this will include, what he deems as “vulgarity, swear words, pornography, is malicious, profane, indecent or other language or picture that does not meet community standards”. See March 15 BOD coverage by RM’s. And as always, no public input or discussion regarding new Resolution proposal. And not one other Director had any input or questions???? Does the word bobble heads come to mind? Sorry couldn’t resist.

What is next? Carl uses the words “to act quickly in the event of an egregious violation”. Does “acting quickly” mean the hell with due process?

Are we now in the land of the free and the Home of the Karens?

Ranch Residents have not only lost the ability to speak freely at Board meetings see Resolution 2019-09-16 with the threat of arrest and at the very least forbidding you to speak at all. Now we are losing our ability of free speech on our private property.

HOW BIG A PROBLEM IS SUCH “egregious offensives” and how many? PORNOGRAPHY??? Really? Shouldn’t that be left in the hands of the police?

This all started during the Trump flag flying time. Some people were so horrified at just the sight of these flags and vowed to not have to look at them any longer than they had to. They overwhelmed the system with their whining that Harbour JUST HAD TO DO SOMETHING. When rulers say, they just have to do something, anything, to just make these whiners shut up, it never ends well. This issue would have gone away on it’s own. How about next time Harbour, DO NOTHING!

But now we have another punitive rule. How will this be enforced? A citizens arrest? The Sheriff? Does that make you whiners feel better? Notice that Carl does another Resolution, by passing the Bylaws.

If Crooked River Ranch is to prosper, we need more tough people who can solve our own problems and not a few whiny, wimpy children, masquerading as adults.
