LESSONS LEARNED?

As reported earlier, Ranch Matters (RM) has published several stories regarding a lawsuit filed June 9, 2021, against Crooked River Ranch Association by Ranch resident Lisa Andrews. Her lawsuit involved the CC&R complaint process and in particular the Associations duty to maintain confidentiality.

Ms. Andrews attorney’s lawsuit alleged:

.

“Negligent Breach of Confidentiality and Breach of Confidentiality”

.

The case settled late last year.

.

Last month RM published the story, “JENNIE’S OUT OF THE BOTTLE” regarding a three page Investigative Report, authored by Jennie Anderson, “Area Coordinator” for the CRR/LGOP- Little Group of Patriots.

Her Investigative Report confirms she interviewed Ranch President Kari Vickery, Administrative Assistant Kara Burkhart along with other unnamed Ranch staff and volunteers. Her Report further confirms said officials provided her with targeted homeowners confidential/personal information and much more.

.

As reported, Ms. Anderson’s Investigative Report was published and sent out via the “SLACK” communication platform used by LGOP and Peoples Rights of Oregon (PRO5).

Page three of Jennie Anderson’s Investigative Report, states in part,

“After speaking with several different Ranch Administrative staff and committee volunteers, including KARI VICKERY the current Board President, I feel this is the only possible path to meaningful change given the current climate and the huge disrespect, including THREATS OF PHYSICAL and PROFESSIONAL HARM, they have received from this group of residents.”

.

Anderson’s malicious and defamatory Report is is littered with hearsay, false/untrue accusations, misrepresentations and some interesting admissions. Admissions largely based on personal/confidential information she was apparently provided by key Ranch officials.

As an aside and according to the 4/17/23, Regular Board Meeting Work Packet, the Board plans on discussing harassment and intimidation issues related to Resolution 2022-06-20-C at this meeting.

RM emailed President Kari Vickery and Ranch Manager Judy Lapora requesting that Jennie Anderson’s three page Investigative Report be added to their Monday night’s meeting agenda for public discussion.

We also asked President Vickery to fully investigate this serious security breach.
