By invitation, Ranch Matters met with Oregon’s Public Records Advocate, Ginger McCall today on her final day as the Advocate.
Ranch Matters originally met with McCall on her first day on the job, where she explained that she was a strong advocate for citizens and their right to know what government entities are doing.
Now, 18 months later, after her resignation, McCall will reign over a new position in Washington DC on November 11.
McCall’s final thoughts…
The real story to McCall is “that change can happen when people engage with government.”
She stated that her “resignation shined a light on the problem and now the office will be independent.”
She went on to explain “ you need to know your rights and stand up for them!”
Additionally, she wanted to thank all of her strong supporters.
McCall’s final thoughts to Ranch Matters…
“KEEP FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT!”
