JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONER’S MEETING AT CRR
Last night’s meeting was held virtually via Zoom and started at 6:00 PM and ended at 7:16 PM
County Chair Kelly Simmelink followed a specially (CRR) prepared Agenda that included the following:
1. CRR Covid VAX Clinic Event report via Jefferson County Public Health
2. ODOT Terrebonne Update-Robert Townsend
3. Community Development Updates & Short Term Rental Discussion-Phil Stenbeck, Community Development Director
4. TSP Updates, Matt Powlison, Public Works Director
5. Panorama Park Update, Blake Fonnesbeck, Building & Grounds Director
6. Sheriff’s Update
7. Public Comment

*Video Snippet # 01: Tami Kepar & Karla Hood from Public Health discussed COVID issues that included the Vaccine Clinic Event on CRR scheduled for 3/19/21. The County has “500 available” vaccines and according to Ranch Manager Judy Lapora that weighed in via zoom, “close to 100” residents have signed up for the shot. Lapora stated she “needs to get the word out” and is using the standard CRR communication platforms that includes PHASE REPS, Social Media-NEXTDOOR & CRR CHAT GROUP
*Video Snippet # 02: Robert Townsend from ODOT provided a brief update regarding US 97- Terrebonne/Lower Bridge Way status report. According to Townsend, the construction project will take 18 months to two years to complete and they are looking at a completion date of sometime in 2024 or Spring 2025

*Video Snippet # 05: Building & Grounds Director, Blake Fonnesbeck’s status report regarding Panorama Park. Fonnesbeck discussed the old Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) & the new MOU between CRR & Jefferson County specifically focusing on roles/responsibilities.
There is an apparent MOU DRAFT that will be reviewed by CRR’s Board at next Monday’s (3/15/21), Regular Meeting
Monetary/payment aspects of the Draft MOU was not a part of the discussion. The old MOU paid CRR $399.00/month

Ranch President Carl Harbour’s comments included, traffic control/enforcement on CRR due to all of the “speeders & poor drivers.”
Harbour asked Adkins, “How do we get a handle on these guys?”
