JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONER’S MEETING

SOME HIGHLIGHTS:
Item 1.1 on the Agenda: Buildings & Grounds and Panorama Park Updates provided by newly hired Jefferson County Buildings & Grounds Director, Blake Fonnesbeck.
OFF CAMERA, we spoke briefly with Fonnesbeck regarding his recent inspection of Panorama Park, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and taxpayers involvement in the process.
Fonnesbeck indicated he needs more time to review all relevant information and consult with others before making an informed statement. Accountability and transparency will be included in the process.

Item 1.2 on the Agenda: Code Enforcement updates by Christopher Reeves, County Code Enforcement Officer.
Regarding Crooked River Ranch (CRR), Reeves conveyed the following to the Commission: There are six (6) homes on Commercial Loop without businesses and two (2) have been resolved. Reeves added, the Ranch Board is concerned and sent letters out to the alleged violators. To date, two (2) have not responded and apparently one property owner is not cooperating. Reeves asked, can the eviction process be utilized and he was told that Oregon Housing Laws would prohibit eviction attempts…
