Special Candidates Forum-Brief Report
Yesterday (10/28/22), the Ranch Association held their Special Candidates Forum to fill the two vacant Director positions in the Juniper Room.
All of the Board of Directors were present and President Kari Vickery moderated the event that included introductions/opening statements and a Q&A session from the Directors and Association members.
The candidates: Robert Beveridge. “80” and Daniel Lowe, “40” were the only applicants that filed for the vacated positions.
The Board had two slots open and two applicants applied and the Special Meeting was primarily just a formality.
What’s noteworthy is how the composition of the Board is shifting away from the old and moving towards a new and younger generation.
President Keri Vickery, VP Ara Erdekian, Sarah Woolverton and now Daniel Lowe hopefully will infuse the board not only with their youth, but also a different and more vibrant management style.
Mixing and matching the old and the new can produce great results.
