CRR/Special Road District (SRD) Commissioner/Incumbent, Sue Haley filed with the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office her application seeking re-election and unexpectedly, without explanation, withdrew from the race on March 15.

Ranch resident Dale Wiley was her only opponent and filed his candidacy for Position 1 on March 3 and was surprised by her sudden withdrawal.

Wiley Commented: “I am sure Special Roads District Board Chair Sue Haley’s recent decision to drop out of the election for another term on the SRD Board was made after much careful consideration for her life and personal desires.

I would like to thank Ms. Haley for her past dedicated service to the citizens and tax payers of Crooked River Ranch and wish her the best in her future endeavors.”
