Crooked River Ranch Independence Day Celebration-2023

This year’s Crooked River Ranch (CRR) Parade theme: ” FREEDOM & FIREWORKS.”

The Parade started just before 10:00 a.m. and took less than an hour for the entries to complete their run.

The Trading Post was used as the staging area-starting point and the parade route did not include leaving the Commercial area and ended at MAC PARK.

Resident Carl Harbour was the Parade Announcer.

Some of the participants included classic cars, various community organizations and clubs,

County Commissioners Kelly Simmelink, Wayne Fording and Mark Wunsch and CRR Fire & Rescue.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office provided traffic control and got to show off one of their new patrol vehicles.

247 years ago, the American colonist had their belly full of King George and his policies. They fought back and the American Revolution kicked into high gear.

*County Chair Kelly Simmelink, speaking for his colleagues, told Ranch Matters that they love coming down to the Ranch and participating in all of the July 4th Events and wished everyone a safe and fun-filled 4th.
