Follow-Up/BILL & JUDY’S RODEO

“THIS IS HOW IT IS, JUST ASK ME”

“IT HAS COME OUR ATTENTION THAT A GROUP IN OPPOSITION TO THE NEW RODEO FACILITY PROJECT ARE HOSTING A MEETING TODAY (3/3/22) AT 4:00pm. BECAUSE OF THE LARGE AMOUNT OF MISLEADING INFORMATION BEING POSTED TO SOCIAL MEDIA, WE WANTED TO PROVIDE A Q&A STATEMENT TO MAKE SURE ACCURATE INFORMATION WAS BEING PROVIDED.”

(Ranch Manager, Judy Lapora)

On March 2, Ranch Matters (RM) published: “BACKING DOWN”? that included an announcement from long time resident Rollin “Steve” Farasyn. As reported, Mr. Farasyn’s 16 acres sits directly adjacent to the proposed rodeo arena area and feels at the minimum, property owners directly impacted by the rodeo event should have been noticed in advance and afforded an opportunity to voice their concerns. Last night (3/3/22), Farasyn hosted a fact-finding meeting at the Heritage House, he invited all concerned residents to attend.

Prior to Mr. Farasyn meeting, Ranch Manager Judy Lapora selectively used the Phase Rep platform and issued her version of events that included the above opening statement. Lapora’s two page “Q&A” was described by Ranch resident Kevin as: “THIS IS HOW IT IS, JUST ASK ME- NO PROOF.”

Lapora’s “Q&A” was additionally printed and distributed along with a copy of her article- justification, in the March Telegraph for all of the attendees at Farasyn’s meeting.

Lapora and or the Board of Directors are reacting to all of the swirling controversy associated with their secret-now exposed rodeo. RM has published multiple stories starting on February 7, where they disclosed for the first time the Rodeo Arena Project Proposal at their Work Session Meeting.

We previously reported that Ranch President Bill Burt and Ranch Manager Judy Lapora’s secret Rodeo Arena Project was riddled from the very beginning with deception and misrepresentations.

They hid from the Ranch homeowners and some Directors significant aspects related to the contract and stakeholders. Conflicts of Interest involving Manager Judy Lapora, her family and the promoter were deliberately withheld and only after exposed did they address the conflicts.

The Project was “rushed” through and there was no public notices or public input allowed before the Board approved the contract that encumbers the residents for 5 years with no benefits for the Association members.

For 5 years Burt has exposed the homeowners to potential multi-million dollar liabilities.

Fact-Check information by following RM stories regarding the Rodeo Arena Project beginning with the February 7 Work Session Meeting.

Note: RM will be posting Farasyn’s meeting, including videos later.
