“…Despite the creation of the District, the Association has been improperly performing ‘maintenance’ and other work, including destructive and invasive work, on the roads within the District. Such work interferes with the District’s ability to perform its road maintenance and improvement responsibilities.

Despite the demand, the Association has refused to discontinue such work.”

Special Road District (SRD) Chairman Lynn Breeden has been busy and recently uncovered a 1999 lawsuit that the SRD filed against the Crooked River Ranch Club and Maintenance Association.

Breeden:

Breeden told Ranch Matters (RM):

.

“The 1999 lawsuit issues are striking similar to the current issues I’ve encountered. The case resulted in the parties supposedly resolving their differences and negotiated a Settlement Agreement.

The same Settlement Agreement I have been discussing and describing as a BREACH-25 years later and we’re in the same boat.”

.

.

“As I stated before and it’s worth repeating, the SRD needs overhauled and re-constituted in a manner that truly acts for and protects the taxpayers as a whole and not special interest groups.”
