CRR SPECIAL ROAD DISTRICT (SRD) MEETING
.
Today’s meeting was called to order by SRD Chairperson Sue Haley at 10:00 AM.
All SRD Commissioners present-Ann House, Dana Pierce along with CRR Road Supervisor Jordan Jones.
Ranch President Bill Burt and Ranch Water Company General Manager Frank Day in attendance.
Chairperson Haley followed the attached AGENDA

*Video Snippet # 04: Continuation of Sundown Canyon Road discussion and a recently developed PLAN described by Chairperson Haley. Water Company General Manager Day provided his input that included reviewing Haley’s PLAN and started: “If we have to move the vault, will move the vault-we just ask, that we’re going to follow state statutes…” “We’re going to follow state statutes…”

*Video Snippet # 05: Badger Hill Road Discussion. Chairperson Haley stated initially: “We, in conjunction with the Board of Directors for the Homeowners Association and Jordan from the Road Department are looking into the cost for a guardrail. We’re also, we are going to be closing that section of road if we have conditions as such as we had the other day, whenever that day was,” “How we want to close it-looking into costs for Type 3 Barriers and also looking into the cost for a gate…” “Also studying the sign situation…” “That’s where we are at with Badger Hill.”
Resident Carol Orr asked the Commissioners about using Jefferson County SDC (System Development Charges) and Chairperson Haley responded: “We may be able to use some of that funding…” “Chairperson added: “I didn’t learn about them until it was in Ranch Matters…”
The discussion continued and included various related matters covering some details regarding the December 26 events, communication procedures, better safety protocols, responsible parties, Ranch Manager Judy Lapora’s “First Responder” status as described in the Policy Handbook to name a few.
Commissioner House said: “This is how things get fixed…” “This will be fixed and we will address it at our next meeting.” “We are a board that wants to see things work…”
