CRR BOD WORK SESSION MEETING

Meeting started at 10:00 AM and ended at approximately 11:50 AM.

All Board of Directors present and President Carl Harbour followed the AGENDA.

 

SOME HIGHLIGHTS:

Ranch resident Lisa Glowack was appointed as a Ranch Director and was administered the Oath of Office by President Harbour. Ms. Glowack’s appointment adds another woman to the Board-5 total. Women have the majority, will things change?

Jefferson County Sheriff Jim Adkins made a presentation regarding the Jail Operations Levy.

Ranch resident Dan Tomlinson provided an overview of the Jefferson County Budget. Mr. Tomlinson handed out a JC Budget Summary Sheet for 2019-2020 and explained briefly the financial situation within Jefferson County.


He explained “how the budget is established”, it’s a “backwards process” when taxes are calculated, that the County receives “6 million a year” via taxes and there is a “4 million dollars, unfunded liability for PERS.”

The Board voted to approve the purchase of a Crack Sealer from Jefferson County for $7,000 and also discussed how to use money from the Steele Stampede, money that is Not a part of the Ranch Budget.

At approximately 11: 50 AM the meeting adjourned to Executive Session.
