Ranch Matters toured a brand new indoor pickleball facility today-PICKLEBALL ZONE.
The Bend facility opened its doors about 5 weeks ago and staff member, Raegan Ferguson gave us the grand tour.
According to Ms. Ferguson, pickleball is a growing sport that combines tennis, badminton and ping-pong. The sport appeals to all age groups and levels of expertise.
Crooked River Ranch has their own pickleball court incorporated within the tennis court. According to a Ranch staff member the court is padlocked for the season leaving the Ranch pickleball players out in the cold.
However, the PICKLEBALL ZONE, provides another option where players can stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
