Yesterday, U.S. Representative Cliff Bentz held a Town Hall at the Jefferson County Community/Senior Center in Madras, Oregon, where about 30 of his constituents attended.
Jefferson County Commissioner Kelly Simmelink was in attendance along with County Commissioner Candidate Mark Wunsch.
After some preliminaries, Congressman Bentz fielded several questions from the audience covering multiple topics that included concerns about the condition or Washington D. C.
Candidate Wunsch asked Bentz about the serious debt issues facing America and in particular his generation. Wunsch said, “I’m scared for my generation…” “My generation will be in a world of hurt…”
Wunsch spoke to Ranch Matters stressing his concerns regarding the spending habits of the Washington D.C. politicians and wants to know exactly what Bentz can do to cut the spending.
Wunsch added that he’s pleased that Bentz plans on spending more time with Jefferson County citizens.
