Deschutes County Case No: 17CR51997

On May 31, 2018, Butler “Bim” Gander missed his “trial readiness hearing” resulting in Deschutes County Judge Wells B. Ashby issuing a FAILURE TO APPEAR (FTA) WARRANT for Gander’s Arrest.

Mr. Gander was arrested by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on June 2, 2018 and lodged in the Jefferson County Adult Correctional Facility until posting $2,500 bail on June 4, 2018.

“DECLARATION IN SUPPORT OF MOTION FOR MODIFICATION OF RELEASE” dated June 4, 2018 explaining why Bim missed his hearing. Declaration states in part, “He (Bim) had oral surgery on May 30, 2018. Due to being heavily medicated it impacted his ability to remember his trial readiness hearing on May 31, 2018.”

Later on June 4, 2018, Bim posted on ND the attached message addressed to “Johnno.”

Today, June 5, 2018, Bim scheduled trial was postponed until October 2, 2018.
