“Under the authority of 14C.30.010. titled authority to restrict access to certain areas, we are closing 106 S.E. Ave from S.E. Washington St to S.E. Cherry Blossom St. Any persons including members of the press who violate this order will be subject to arrest.”

RM had an opportunity to speak with one of the PPB Officers assigned to the security detail at the 106th St Precinct .

According to this Officer, more trouble is expected tonight at either the 106th Precinct or at the E Precinct on 47th and E Burnside.

Interestingly, we learned there is an “Incident Management Team” that provides tactical information/guidelines regarding rules of engagement.

PPB is preparing for all eventualities tonight.

While talking with this Officer several people stopped by conveying their support and dropped off pastries.
