“HANDS OFF”, one of many Anti-Trump groups targeting President Trump’s Administration-policies, demonstrated in the north end of Madras this afternoon.

According to Laura, a Jefferson County resident, she decided to organize the “HANDS OFF” rally after hearing about it through “Indivisible”.

INDIVISIBLE: “Our democracy is under threat. But we will not yield to fascism. We will stand together and we’ll fight back in defense of our rights, our communities, and our values. Join us.”

Laura told Ranch Matters: “About 150 people from Jefferson County have brought signs protesting” Trump’s policies.

Crooked River Ranch resident Joel attended the “HANDS OFF” rally in Madras and told Ranch Matters: “The good thing about the Ranch is how diverse our beliefs are. We come from all over and we believe lots of things and we all live together in our community.”

Madras resident Mark along with three other gentlemen attended the rally in support of President Trump. While holding up a Trump sign he commented: “Where are all of the Republicans?”

He praised the Democrats for getting off their butts and standing up for what they believe in, while at the same time quietly upset with the Republicans for not matching the Democrats efforts.
